1. Project Scope
- This quotation includes all services, pages, content, design and maintenance for the project.
- Any extra requests such as new pages, more languages, extra features, animations or advertising designs are not included and will require a new quotation.
- Duplex Ventures will design and develop the project based on the text, images and brand materials provided by the client.
- If the client does not provide materials on time, the project timeline will be extended automatically.
2. Payment Terms
- A 50% deposit is required before the project starts. The remaining 50% must be paid before the website goes live.
- All payments are final and non refundable unless Duplex Ventures does not deliver the agreed work.
- If the project pauses for more than 30 days due to client delay, the project will be archived and a RM300 reactivation fee is required.
- If the client cancels the project during development, the deposit will be treated as service fees and will not be refunded.
3. Timeline and Delivery
- The average development time is 20 to 30 working days depending on the complexity.
- Duplex Ventures will deliver on time if the client provides all required materials promptly.
- Each project includes one to two rounds of major revisions. Minor edits are not counted.
- Extra revision rounds will be charged at RM150 per round.
- All revision rounds must be used before the website goes live. The project is considered complete once delivered.
4. Ownership and Rights
- All website files, designs and content belong to the client after full payment is received.
- If the client has not completed the remaining balance, all files will remain the property of Duplex Ventures.
- All open source plugins such as WordPress, Rank Math and Elementor belong to their original developers.
- Duplex Ventures may use screenshots of the project for portfolio and marketing purposes. The client may request removal in writing.
5. Maintenance and Support
- All packages include one month of basic maintenance. This includes small edits, text changes and security updates.
- After the maintenance period, the client may subscribe to a monthly maintenance plan from RM150 to RM300.
- Duplex Ventures is not responsible for hosting issues, plugin conflicts or errors caused by client modifications.
- If the website is hacked or damaged by viruses or hosting failure, repair fees will be quoted separately.
6. Marketing Services
- SEO, social media and advertising services are monthly subscription services and require payment in advance.
- If the client ends the service early, the remaining unused service period is not refundable.
- Duplex Ventures is not responsible for changes to platforms such as Google, Meta or TikTok.
- All advertising budgets are paid directly by the client to the platform unless a separate management agreement is signed.
7. Confidentiality and Data
- Duplex Ventures will keep all client information, data and accounts secure and confidential.
- Any access to client accounts such as Ads Manager or Google Search Console will be used only for project work.
- The client is responsible for backing up data and updating passwords regularly.
8. Agreement Confirmation
- By paying the deposit, the client agrees to all terms and conditions in this quotation.
- Duplex Ventures may update or adjust these terms with prior notice to the client.
